Great skill, underated by party members who don't realise that the twinkly stars are coming from a Ranger and not a Monk so they move out of range. Once you let them into the secret you get looked after a lot better

Is there a quest that gives healing spring?

No. Skill trainers in out of the way areas (Ascalon Settlement, Ice Tooth Cave, etc.) are a reward your exploration, and as such, will not be offered as quest rewards.

I personally love to stay near my team's casters and use this skill when someone starts to come close. Can make killing them (and me) a nightmare

Ascalon settlement is in Kryta (everyone always seems to forget where that is! ! !)

Healing spring hehe great skill, seen it used in so many different ways especially in ranger healing ball teams.

Sorry to bump this, but I seriously think that Healing Spring needs some kind of clearer indication that I'm doing something useful (think necromancer's Well of Blood). Even shouting out "I'm using Healing Spring!" isn't enough for most of people.

You might want to stand next to me when I'm trying to heal your butts for +300hp!

Healing Springs isn't that effective in most situations.

It has its uses though.

1) Ball'ed up groups. These tend to be Ranger groups, or groups where the Monk likes to use heal area.

2) As a Resolve Trapper. commonly used in Iway now. You can get in there and set it at important battle areas.

Your right, ppl dont seem inteligent enough even when you shout it that your using it. PvE its its triky to use, but in PvP and GvG, its a great tool. A trapper can set up a great second line of defense, which hinders your foes and heals your allies as they fall back. Defienatly a must in GvG
